Proviron or Pro-v is an interesting drug. Proviron is technically a steroid. Proviron has no anabolic activity though. Its clinical use is to replace androgen content in the male for men who are being treated for low sperm count and also low sex drive. For the purpose of fertility, pro-v is also combined with many other drugs. For our purposes, think of it as a dual drug for zilching out estrogen as well as offering some insurance against a loss of libido during your cycles. This is an awesome benefit. I realize that I speak of this often, but it is key to being able to enjoy your cycles and I find it is also closely related to appetite. This is completely anecdotal but when the sex drive is high, the appetite tends to be high, and you can grow much better with less anabolic steroids. I would trade a ravenous appetite any day over being on a ton of juice with no appetite when bulking and mass is the goal. It is the food after all, that allows the juice to work its magic.

The new study examined recent stretch marks and found that they had a higher density of hormone receptors than normal skin, and estrogen appeared to be the most concentrated. Since estrogen is involved in skin healing, that could represent the body’s attempt to heal the injured skin tissue. From the standpoint of steroid users, the greater number of estrogen receptors in stretch marks could also represent a defense against the high level of androgens, which interfere with skin healing. Earlier I tried regular IF ( or 20 hours) and honestly I disliked how I felt and performed. Not eating for 16 hours was quit easy but then I would eat really large amounts of food and my hunger hormones would never seem to be satisfied 😉
Enter Bulletproof Intermittent Fasting 3 weeks ago: I drink coffee with grass fed butter & MCT oil when I get hungry in the morning (usually at 9-10 am) and then I’m full until afternoon (3-4 pm)!! I go to lectures and to gross anatomy class fully energized and absolutely not hungry. I do not have to think about food or to bother preparing something to take with me to college! It’s such a life-saver for a student. Mentally and physically I’m on top, so after my classes I can even go to the gym for a short and intense workout!

I’m 22, medical student. I’ve been eating Paleo for a year or so because it makes me feal great! Since discovering your blog and your work, I’m reading your articles or listening to podcasts almost every day and I’m enjoying this information that our professors at university would never tell us…
