I believe that skipping dinner can even have a negative effect, mostly psychologically, and disturb sleep due to feeling of hunger. There are no other significant risks. I'd like to single out the situation I mentioned earlier – training at night, especially intense training. Skipping dinner could in this case have a negative effect on recovery process and I do not recommend it.
